Spazi fisici, culturali ed economici per lo sviluppo e la valorizzazione della leadership femminile. A Vicenza, Esac Formazione avvia un progetto, finanziato dalla Regione del Veneto, per la parità e l’equilibrio di genere e per migliorare la carriera delle donne
«Una donna deve avere soldi, cibo adeguato e una stanza tutta per se’ per poter scrivere», affermava la scrittrice Virginia Woolf nell’ottobre 1928. Un principio che ha dato il titolo al suo celebre saggio “Una stanza tutta per sé” e che oggi fa ancora da faro a chiunque intraprenda percorsi finalizzati all’accesso, sia agli uomini che alle donne, alle stesse risorse ed opportunità lavorative e sociali.
Così è stato anche per Esac Formazione – organismo di emanazione di Confcommercio Vicenza -, quando ha ideato il progetto “Una stanza tutta per sé: spazi fisici, culturali ed economici per lo sviluppo e la valorizzazione della leadership femminile”, rispondendo alla Direttiva “P.A.R.I.” della Regione del Veneto, finalizzata a favorire la parità e l’equilibrio di genere allo scopo di migliorare l’occupazione femminile in Veneto.
Il progetto della durata di 18 mesi, coinvolge numerosi partner operanti nel mondo della formazione, del lavoro, della cultura, dello sport e dei servizi, tra cui la Fondazione Marisa Bellisario.
A fine ottobre si è svolto a Vicenza l’evento di kick off del progetto, dal titolo: “Cosa serve per affermare una leadership femminile?”, seminario che ha ospitato illustri relatori, tra i quali, in apertura, il presidente di Confcommercio Vicenza Nicola Piccolo e Sara Patrizi, responsabile di Esac Formazione.
Presidente, in sintesi, con quali obiettivi Esac Formazione ha avviato il progetto?
Dopo quasi 100 anni dalle riflessioni della Woolf, nonostante le donne abbiano fatto passi da gigante per la loro emancipazione, c’è ancora un evidente gap di genere che deve essere colmato. Il progetto “Una stanza tutta per sé” va in questa direzione, creando sul territorio un modello sperimentale volto a contrastare le disuguaglianze e a favorire una partecipazione più equilibrata al lavoro e ai ruoli apicali.
È il lavoro l’ambito in cui i divari di genere sono più visibili?
Credo di sì, perché è quello dove le donne trovano i maggiori ostacoli ad entrare e fare carriera. Tuttavia sono convinto che il divario sia presente in modo forte, anche se meno visibile, ben prima dell’ingresso nel mondo del lavoro, ed è per questo che è fondamentale coinvolgere il sistema scuola, le famiglie e i principali contesti di aggregazione sociale come lo sport e il mondo della cultura affinché le nuove generazioni possano cogliere la parità come un valore, da portare anche nelle aziende, ultimo e importante tassello di una filiera sociale ed educativa ben più ampia. In quest’ottica, è costante e fattivo l’impegno di Confcommercio Vicenza nel trainare il cambiamento.
A Sara Patrizi abbiamo chiesto di parlarci degli interventi che si andranno a realizzare.
L’obiettivo principale è trasferire conoscenze, competenze e stimoli per favorire la leadership, promuovendo i talenti e contrastando stereotipi di genere e culturali, e lo faremo attraverso interventi innovativi di formazione. Utilizzeremo, ad esempio, il teatro e il rugby, laboratori, project work, seminari e altri eventi, che vedranno coinvolti i nostri partner di progetto. In tutto sono 55 interventi, che saranno a costo zero per i partecipanti, in quanto le attività sono tutte finanziate dal progetto stesso.
A chi sono rivolti i vari interventi?
Coinvolgeremo lavoratrici, libere professioniste, donne disoccupate o inattive, ma anche studentesse e studenti. Auspichiamo inoltre la partecipazione degli uomini, proprio perché è importante agire in sinergia. Chiunque avrà piacere di aderire al nostro progetto potrà accedere alle diverse “stanze” che abbiamo metaforicamente individuato per l’affermazione e lo sviluppo della leadership femminile: la “stanza delle competenze”, soft e hard; “la stanza cultura”, per diffondere saperi e linguaggi di leadership; la “stanza economia” per conoscere gli strumenti finanziari; la “stanza confini” per guardare oltre la propria comfort zone; la “stanza networking” per creare una rete di relazioni di valore oltre i limiti di genere.
