Nei giorni scorsi mi ha molto colpito il caso di una ragazzina di 11 anni che sui social “bacchettava” Chiara Ferragni per una foto decisamente succinta. «Qual è il messaggio per noi ragazzine? Che per farci notare dobbiamo metterci nude? Io non lo trovo un bel messaggio da mandare». E, ancora: «Mia mamma se mettesse una foto così io mi sentirei malissimo, penserei che mi devo vergognare del suo comportamento». E con lei altre ragazzine scandalizzate che, soprattutto, ricordavano a Ferragni di essere madre e di come avrebbe reagito la figlia, diventata adolescente, a quelle foto. Lo scorso numero una tredicenne che sceglieva Marisa Bellisario come eroina di riferimento e ora questo: segnali positivi, semi da fare germogliare e che raccontano di una generazione come non te l’aspetti.
Da parte sua, l’imprenditrice risponde: «Il messaggio per tutte, ragazzine e non, da parte mia è molto semplice: nessuno ci vuole giudicare e farci sentire sbagliate. Pubblicare una foto così non dovrebbe far vergognare nessuno e anzi, dimostrare che ognuno è libero di essere se stesso e celebrarsi quando si sente di farlo».
Ebbene, qual è allora il punto? La libertà di una donna si esprime nella facoltà di mostrarsi nuda? E dove finisce la libertà di una donna che è anche madre? Esiste un modello di femminile da trasmettere alle ragazze o l’unico modello è quello di perseguire l’indipendenza di azione e pensiero con ogni mezzo e in ogni modo?
È innegabile che il corpo delle donne sia tornato campo di battaglia. Sono tornate le polemiche sulla liceità dell’aborto e le femministe si sono rimesse in marcia. Sono tornati i dibattiti sulla maternità come scelta e non come dovere morale verso una nazione in cui di figli non se ne fanno più. E nuovi dibattiti sono entrati prepotentemente in campo, dalla maternità surrogata alla teoria del gender. Insomma, per una che di piazze, proteste, sit in e manifestazioni ne ha fatte e viste a centinaia, l’impressione è di una grande confusione. Un marasma di sollecitazioni, teorie, opinioni e informazioni discordanti in cui abbiamo abbandonato i nostri figli, le nostre figlie. La domanda che mi pongo è se e come possano elaborare una propria idea, una visione di se stesse, del proprio corpo, delle proprie libertà ma anche dei propri doveri (perché il mondo non è fatto solo di diritti e qualcuno dovrà spiegarglielo)? Chi lo spiega a queste ragazzine come va il mondo? I social? E cosa facciamo noi per proteggerle, anche da noi stesse e dai nostri errori?
Sono domande complesse a cui nemmeno io so dare una risposta ma credo che un indizio ce lo stiano dando proprio loro, le ragazzine che interrogano un’imprenditrice social sull’esempio che da alla figlia usando i media in modo spregiudicato per soldi o semplice narcisismo. Sono loro a mostrarci il fallimento del nostro modello educativo, a chiederci responsabilità e aiuto. Loro a mettere al bando quella sbornia di narcisismo da social. A darci una sberla e ricordarci che prima dei followers dovremmo occuparci di loro. Perché è inutile tentare un’impossibile detox tecnologico per i nostri figli o dirci terrorizzati dalla loro dipendenza da internet se poi sui social spiattelliamo tutta la nostra vita e dedichiamo tanto tempo. Abbiamo abdicato al nostro ruolo educativo ma loro, i nostri figli, continuano ostinatamente a guardarci e imitarci…
Quanto poi alla risposta della Ferragni, mi chiedo se sia questo il concetto di libertà che vogliamo insegnare alle nostre figlie e nipoti. Noi ci siamo battute per altro, abbiamo ottenuto altro, ci siamo sacrificate per altro. E c’è ancora tanto altro per cui lottare che non la libertà di mostrarsi nude. Come scriveva Oriana Fallaci. Sembrano millenni fa ma quanto ancora c’è da fare e insegnare…
«Avrai tante cose da intraprendere se nascerai donna. Per incominciare, avrai da batterti per sostenere che se Dio esiste potrebbe anche essere una vecchia coi capelli bianchi o una bella ragazza. E’ solo un diritto fra tanti diritti. Faticherai tanto a ripeterlo. E spesso, quasi sempre, perderai. Ma non dovrai scoraggiarti.
