Si è parlato tanto di rumore in queste ultime settimane, ma non tutti i rumori sono uguali. Il mio, quello che scelgo senza riserve, suona come le chiavi agitate in aria durante i funerali di Giulia Cecchettin. Ed è anche il rumore assordate delle parole, perfette, di un padre distrutto ma fiero, che ha preso sulle sue spalle il dolore di mille femminicidi e ha provato a dare un senso collettivo a una tragedia individuale. Mi spiace dirlo, ma non è invece il rumore delle piazze del 25 novembre. Mentre in una Padova a lutto – diecimila persone per un funerale che è diventato qualcosa di più – quel padre ha lasciato da parte la rabbia, non ha mai invocato vendetta, altrove ho visto troppi segni di un odio che non costruisce ma distrugge.
Tante femministe storiche non sono state alle manifestazioni del 25 novembre nelle grandi città, tante dopo le hanno criticate. Io ho scelto la Sicilia, un corteo silente alla luce delle fiaccole. In piazza sono stata tante volte, ho manifestato quando eravamo in poche, quando i nostri diritti andavano ancora fondati. E anche di recente, ho perso la voce per le donne iraniane. Il punto è che dietro una piazza “giusta” non c’è spazio per l’odio, non ci sono vittime “meritevoli” di difesa e altre no, non ci sono nemici. Si costruisce il cambiamento solo se si esce dalla logica dell’odio e della vendetta. Altrimenti si fa solo un rumore sordo, facile da dimenticare.
Ho visto le immagini dell’attacco alla sede del movimento Pro Vita durante il corteo contro la violenza sulle donne. Mi sono vergognata. Un assalto in piena regola, con tanto di ordigno rudimentale e inesploso. Voglio pensare che a lanciarlo non sia stata una donna. E quale il senso di tutto ciò? Quale il collegamento? Una manifestazione che doveva essere contro la violenza “inquinata” da atti di violenza che in un colpo ne hanno cancellato tutto il buono e i buoni propositi di tanti e tante scese in piazza senza alcun intento bellicoso.
Poi ho letto anche della sacrosanta indignazione contro l’ignobile silenzio nei confronti del femminicidio di massa delle donne israeliane perpetrato da Hamas. Erano piazze pro Palestina quelle del 25 novembre e non potevano ricordare, difendere, indignarsi per le donne calpestate, stuprate e uccise nella mattanza del 7 ottobre. Un’ingiustizia collettiva che non DEVE avere il timbro del femminismo, non di quello in cui mi riconosco e in cui ho militato. «Il 7 ottobre Hamas ha ucciso centinaia di donne in Israele. Noi chiediamo che tutto questo sia riconosciuto come un femminicidio di massa». Così comincia la petizione lanciata dalle femministe francesi di Paroles de femmes, e firmata, tra gli altri, da Anne Hidalgo, Yvan Attal, Charlotte Gainsbourg. Questo è femminismo: donne per le donne al di là delle ideologie. Questa è una sorellanza vera che non cerca, anzi rifugge, un marchio ideologico.
Quella che è stata definita la “grande marea fucsia” ha perso una grande occasione. Quella di fermare l’odio: contro le donne, contro il diverso, contro chi non la pensa come noi. Usare la violenza per combatterla significa non solo sbagliare obiettivo. Vuol dire esportare quella “categorizzazione” all’origine dei femminicidi – l’uccisione di una donna in quanto donna – dirigendola altrove. Verso un’organizzazione che difende la vita. Verso gli ebrei sporchi e cattivi. È sempre odio, uccide in modo diverso ma uccide.
Per questo ho scelto i diecimila di Padova e il padre di Giulia che ci ha consegnato una grande lezione: bisognare parlare, esserci, avere cura, educare, discutere, ammettere gli errori e le disattenzioni. Bisogna essere insieme per venire a capo di questa mostruosità. Non l’un contro l’altro armati. Non pronti a selezionare le vere vittime in base al loro credo religioso. Non da una parte politica o dall’altra, perché anche gli slogan urlati contro Giorgia Meloni sono stati altrettanto vergognosi. Se diamo un’etichetta politica o ideologica a questo movimento spontaneo che vuole davvero mettere la parola fine alla violenza, che vuole sinceramente cambiare le cose, allora abbiamo perso in partenza. E stiamo mandando un messaggio fuorviante ai tanti giovani, ragazzi e ragazze, che il 25 novembre sono scesi in piazza non contro qualcuno ma per le mille Giulie che hanno avuto funerali miserabili e che solo i figli e le madri continuano a ricordare.
