Nei momenti difficili come quello che sta attraversando l’Europa occorre restare vicini e prestare aiuto e soccorso a chi vive una situazione di crisi senza precedenti: un valore, quello della solidarietà, che in Intesa Sanpaolo si esprime con il rilevante ruolo assegnato al sociale e alle persone nel Piano di Impresa 2022-2025 presentato di recente dal CEO Carlo Messina.
In base a questi principi Intesa Sanpaolo ha deciso di accogliere in Italia quei dipendenti di Pravex Bank (la banca del Gruppo presente in Ucraina) e famigliari che sono stati costretti dalla guerra a lasciare il loro Paese.
La Banca ucraina ha circa 780 dipendenti, di cui quasi l’80% donne. Tra questi, un centinaio ha già lasciato l’Ucraina con le proprie famiglie, per un totale di circa 300 persone, trovando una prima accoglienza fornita dalle banche del Gruppo presenti nei quattro Paesi confinanti: Moldavia, Romania, Slovacchia e Ungheria. A queste persone Intesa Sanpaolo ha proposto di trasferirsi in Italia per poter fornire una assistenza di più ampio respiro e 182 persone hanno già accolto questo invito (62 dipendenti con al seguito 120 familiari).
Si tratta prevalentemente di colleghe, e in alcuni casi di mogli di colleghi impossibilitati al momento a lasciare il Paese a causa della legge marziale in vigore, insieme a figli minori o genitori anziani, per lo più provenienti dalle zone Est dell’Ucraina e dalla capitale Kiev.
Le prime 59 persone sono arrivate a Bergamo il 24 marzo e sono state accolte con il supporto di Caritas in una struttura alberghiera a pochi km dalla città per poi passare in appartamenti di proprietà della banca messi a loro disposizione. Nella prima settimana di aprile sono arrivate ulteriori 123 persone accolte in gran parte sulla piazza di Bergamo in appartamenti sempre della Banca, residence e alberghi.
Statistiche e numeri che si aggiornano però di ora in ora, in funzione anche dell’evoluzione del conflitto. E mentre permangono famiglie che preferiscono restare vicine ai confini ucraini, altre stanno valutando con interesse un possibile trasferimento nel nostro paese nei prossimi giorni e settimane.
L’ambizione è quella di provare a ricreare una piccola community di colleghi Pravex nella città di Bergamo, mettendo a disposizione un modello di accoglienza e servizi di supporto garantiti da una cooperativa sociale di eccellenza del territorio (Ruah) e dalla rete dei numerosi colleghi ISP presenti in città che già hanno espresso la propria disponibilità a facilitare e supportare i processi di integrazione.
Inoltre, Intesa Sanpaolo ha già allestito a Bergamo uffici e spazi di lavoro che possano permettere ai colleghi di ritornare quanto prima a lavorare insieme, in piena collaborazione con tutte le diverse funzioni del Gruppo.
Intesa Sanpaolo, attraverso gli accordi stipulati con Caritas e la cooperativa sociale Ruah di Bergamo, fornirà ai colleghi Pravex e alle loro famiglie una serie di servizi di supporto, anche operativo, tra cui ad esempio, la gestione delle diverse pratiche burocratiche e documentali, l’orientamento verso i servizi socioassistenziali pubblici (es. tema vaccinazioni obbligatorie), un orientamento al territorio e ai suoi servizi, assistenza educativa e inserimento nel sistema scolastico dei figli in età scolare, mediazione linguistico–culturale, integrazione sociale, erogazione di corsi di lingua italiana, etc.
In favore di tutti i colleghi di Pravex, è stato anche deciso di riconoscere una mensilità aggiuntiva di retribuzione e un anticipo di tre mensilità per sostenerli in questo momento drammatico. Inoltre, per venire incontro alle prime necessità dei colleghi che devono lasciare l’Ucraina, la Fondazione Intesa Sanpaolo Onlus ha deliberato un intervento specifico, in particolare a beneficio dei nuclei familiari con figli minorenni. A questo si aggiunge l’accordo che Intesa Sanpaolo ha siglato di recente con le organizzazioni sindacali per mettere rapidamente a disposizione permessi retribuiti alle persone del Gruppo che intendano accogliere cittadini ucraini in Italia, inclusi colleghe e colleghi, o che siano impegnati in iniziative di volontariato svolte fuori dai confini nazionali attraverso ONG o enti non profit con finalità umanitarie e sociali.
L’iniziativa in favore del proprio personale dipendente segue quella più ampia dei giorni scorsi, che prevede una donazione di 10 milioni di euro da parte di Intesa Sanpaolo a sostegno di misure di solidarietà e accoglienza verso l’intera popolazione dell’Ucraina. I primi destinatari sono UNHCR e Caritas Italiana. È partita, inoltre, una campagna di raccolta fondi su Forfunding.it, la piattaforma di crowdfunding della Banca, come ulteriore intervento a sostegno delle popolazioni colpite. Per ogni donazione effettuata, Intesa Sanpaolo raddoppierà l’importo donato.
Infine, per tutti i rifugiati ucraini in Italia, Intesa Sanpaolo mette a disposizione un conto corrente corredato da una carta di debito senza spese e con operazioni illimitate, al fine di dare una risposta immediata e concreta al bisogno di accesso ai servizi bancari di base.
