CAPACI, CON IL MUST23, LUOGO DELLA MEMORIA, DELL’ESPERIENZA E CREAZIONE DI FUTURO

A Capaci, qualche giorno fa, si è tenuta la presentazione del MuST23 – Museo Stazione 23 maggio, un museo, interattivo e multimediale, promosso dall’associazione Capaci No Mafia ETS e dalla cooperativa sociale Addiopizzo Travel, che mira alla creazione di uno spazio di fruizione culturale permanente, una “memoria viva” della strage del 23 maggio 1992 che costò la vita al giudice Falcone, alla moglie e a tre agenti di scorta.

Un progetto in cui si respira un fortissimo dialogo tra arte sociale, tecnologia, etica ed estetica, ma che soprattutto rappresenta un’immersione nelle storie vissute dai testimoni di quel periodo storico, con una narrazione forte di speranza e di rinascita.

Informare e scuotere le coscienze per spingere all’impegno è l’obiettivo di MuST23. Conoscere quello che successe oltre 30 anni fa, quando nessuno degli studenti di oggi era ancora nato, riduce il rischio di indifferenza alle mafie raccolto dalla testimonianza di Dario Riccobono, responsabile del progetto.

La dinamica è chiara ed è condivisa da tutti i partner del progetto: se Capaci per molti è sinonimo di strage, partire da quell’evento drammatico diventa strumento narrativo per raccontare come quel giorno segnò anche un prima e un dopo nella cosiddetta “generazione del ‘92” che, segnata da quell’esperienza, ha dato nuova linfa alla resistenza alla mafia e alla valorizzazione del territorio. E il compito di MuST23 sarà proprio quello di guidare il visitatore attraverso l’importante lavoro di Falcone, l’impegno della società civile, gli arresti dei più importanti boss e le eccellenze siciliane.

Un’area, l’ex stazione ferroviaria di Capaci, che viene destrutturata nella sua funzione nativa per dialogare tramite elementi artistici, riferimenti culturali e concettuali, tecnologie multimediali e interattive. Il luogo fisico della ex stazione con l’ex scalo merci, e anche la collina che guarda il mare a pochi passi dal luogo della strage, diventano spazio aperto, performance collettiva, che sulla memoria costruisce coscienza civica e cultura, come coordinato dal direttore artistico Daví Lamastra per combinare con la magia del luogo, la possibilità di vivere un’esperienza multisensoriale.

E questo diventa anche il momento fondamentale in cui si mettono insieme le volontà, le risorse, le competenze, tanto che MuST23, nelle intenzioni di Capaci No Mafia e Addiopizzo Travel, è un progetto aperto e partecipato, che ha già raccolto l’adesione di numerosi istituzioni e partner: Invitalia, nell’ambito della misura Cultura Crea 2.0, ha finanziato il primo step del progetto, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana ha concesso in comodato d’uso gratuito gli spazi dell’ex stazione ferroviaria di Capaci. La Rai, Google.org (la divisione filantropica di Google), Associazione Economia Sociale Digitale, Legacoop, Fondazione PICO – Digital Innovation Hub di Legacoop, Ferpi – Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana e il Comune di Capaci hanno contribuito, a diverso titolo, supportando l’iniziativa.

E così, è partita anche la campagna di crowdfunding, attiva sul sito www.must23.it, collegata al completamento del primo obiettivo che prevede un più ampio intervento di riqualificazione territoriale e culturale di respiro internazionale, mantenendo tra le sue radici la filosofia dell’iniziativa collettiva “dal basso”.

I valori che si percepiscono sono alti: la rivalsa della bellezza dei luoghi, della determinazione e della forza della popolazione di questa città che vive e si impegna nel sogno concreto in cui Capaci, località della strage, diventa attraverso gli occhi dei visitatori del MuST23, la visione del mondo migliore capace di reagire, ricostruire e rinascere.
