7 Signore, 7 Professioniste (con la P maiuscola), 7 Donne che, conoscendo la complessità della vita, sono abituate a trovare soluzioni concrete. Le 7 Madamin di Torino sono state semplicemente straordinarie. A loro va il grande merito di avere ridestato l’attenzione da un torpore che portava tutti a criticare l’assenza di decisioni che stanno conducendo una città al declino, solo a parole, senza mai reagire.
L’iniziativa “Sì, avanti Torino” nasce per reazione alla rassegnazione. Nasce dalla volontà di dare una speranza ad una Città e ad una Regione. Nasce dalla responsabilità di lasciare ai giovani un futuro.
L’iniziativa “Sì, avanti Torino” nasce sui social e diventa… virale. In pochissimi giorni, il passaparola della rete porta centinaia, migliaia di persone ad accedere ad un gruppo chiuso di Facebook, che, da fine ottobre ad oggi conta più di 45 membri.
Primo obiettivo, portare in piazza le voci di chi vuole dire sì, cominciando dalla TAV, per procedere poi sulle altre proposte del manifesto del sì.
Si è arrivati all’incontro del 13 novembre. Una piazza gremita da più di 40mila persone. Ed è stato incredibile respirare l’atmosfera di compostezza, civiltà, ed umanità che solo una manifestazione guidata da sette donne avrebbe potuto realizzare. Torino è scesa in piazza con i suoi imprenditori, professionisti, commercianti, rappresentanti associativi, sindacati e famiglie. Perché? Per dire SI’ al futuro.

L’onda è partita. Alla piazza hanno fatto seguito dapprima editoriali, commenti, interviste, riflessioni e poi le azioni. Gli imprenditori di Torino hanno capito che non è più tempo di aspettare, Confindustria ha riunito migliaia di eccellenze italiane per dire sì alle infrastrutture per lo sviluppo, è nato persino il movimento a difesa del Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino per tenere alta l’attenzione su tutto ciò che rischiamo di perdere.
Da anni ormai ho scelto di seguire idee, attività e progetti della Fondazione Marisa Bellisario, un network che raccoglie migliaia di manager, imprenditrici, professioniste, donne ai vertici e giovani promesse, tutte con un sogno realizzato o in fieri e tutte con la volontà di lasciare un segno e incidere sul presente e sul futuro del Paese. Ho accettato di rappresentare La Fondazione in Piemonte perché è un laboratorio di crescita e scambio di idee ed esperienze che aiuta a leggere e comprendere la realtà e a trovare le soluzioni per “cambiare passo” e rendere le donne Protagoniste del loro tempo.
Per la sua missione, la Fondazione non poteva non accorgersi di cosa stava succedendo. Con la Presidente Lella Golfo, sin da subito abbiamo sostenuto l’iniziativa continueremo a sostenerla, mettendo a disposizione tutte le risorse e la passione di un network di energie e competenze, di una rete di dialogo e confronto, di un gruppo solidale e unito, che condivide attività e iniziative per costruire un Paese a misura di donne e di crescita.
