Ricevere e leggere il tema di Mariabeatrice è stato davvero commovente, per me e sicuramente lo sarà per tutti/e i lettori della nostra newsletter. Tante volte mi sono chiesta se tutto il lavoro fatto in questi 35 anni con la Fondazione Bellisario sia servito a qualcosa…La risposta è arrivata inaspettatamente!! E non da una donna consapevole dei propri diritti, ma da una ragazzina di poco meno di 13 anni!! Con il suo compito in classe, inconsapevolmente, Mariabeatrice ci ha inviato un grande e forte messaggio che  raccogliamo con grande soddisfazione, perché vuol dire che l’esempio di Marisa Bellisario è diventato un valore per le nuove generazioni e per me che ho dato tutto è una gioia e un orgoglio!

«Dopo aver studiato gli eroi antichi e i grandi personaggi del passato, pensi che in questa nostra società ci sia ancora spazio per le figure eroiche e per i loro valori? Quali sono per te i “nuovi eroi”?». Questa era la traccia, lo svolgimento lo leggerete qui sotto ed è il mio punto per questo numero. Il mio punto e la mia personale vittoria. Perché se per una ragazzina di terza media, l’eroina è Marisa Bellisario e sono le donne che in sua memoria si impegnano per una società, un’economia, una politica più paritaria, allora abbiamo già vinto la nostra scommessa. Abbiamo lasciato un segno indelebile, impresso un’ipoteca sul futuro di tante ragazze. Che, grazie a noi, sanno già che il loro posto nel mondo, qualunque esso sia, dovranno conquistarlo studiando e impegnandosi sin da piccole, consapevoli che non esistono barriere e steccati che non potranno superare con la forza dell’impegno e della volontà determinata. E che il futuro non è nel loro destino individuale: siamo legate le une alle altre e se noi oggi ci battiamo per loro, domani saranno loro a scendere in campo per le loro figlie, per costruire un mondo giusto e inclusivo. «Se sento parlare di eroi penso subito ai supereroi come per esempio gli Avengers, ma con il tempo ho imparato che non sempre c’è bisogno di un mantello o dei superpoteri per essere un eroe perché per me “i nuovi eroi” sono un gruppo di donne che si chiama Fondazione Bellisario che combattono per far capire e ricordare alle altre persone che tutte le donne valgono, possono e sono finalmente qualcosa. Conosco questa Fondazione non solo per via dei social ma anche perché mia madre ne fa parte e, visto che a volte fanno delle riunioni e lei mi porta con se, e discutono o parlano di cosa potrebbero fare, di come vengono trattate o di fatti successi. Ogni volto che guardo e ascolto le loro discussioni vedo donne che sono pronte a “combattere” e a farsi valere per come sono, senza farsi mai mettere i piedi in testa da nessuno. Certe volte non vengono ascoltate, ma non si abbattono e ci riprovano. Il nome del gruppo è nato più o meno a cavallo del Novecento da una donna che si chiamava Marisa Bellisario (da cui appunto presero idea per il nome del gruppo), la si prese come spunto perché anche lei combatteva per le stesse ragioni, per cui anche le donne della Fondazione di adesso combattono. Per me loro sono delle “eroine” perché combattono per loro e per noi, per noi ragazze che dobbiamo ancora crescere. Marisa Bellisario divenne famosa anche per i suoi progetti innovativi, nel 1965 a New York ottenne il pieno riconoscimento per le sue doti, fu anche la prima donna alla guida di un’azienda pubblica. Un successo indiscusso per la consegna dei manuali di economia, come per esempio la ristrutturazione di un’azienda pubblica che le fece guadagnare nel 1986 il premio di manager dell’anno. Nel 1984 decise di far parte della Commissione nazionale per la parità tra uomo e donna, ha iniziato così il suo impegno, diventato poi una vera e propria missione di vita a favore della parità di genere, mettendo a lavoro una serie di iniziative per le donne imprenditrici e attuando politiche sul lavoro delle donne.

Secondo me per la società di oggi c’è bisogno di altre persone come Marisa Bellisario o come la Fondazione proprio per far ricordare a tutti chi era Marisa e per cosa si è battuta».
